What Is Profhilo?
PROFHILO® is the first stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) based product which is manufactured without the use of chemical cross-linking agents (BDDE) and is used for skin remodelling and treating skin laxity, not for just filling lines and wrinkles. What Is Skin Bio-Modeling?
Profhilo® is a natural hyaluronic acid, without preservatives or additives, a long-lasting biotechnological product used for the bio-modeling of skin laxity of the face and for facial rejuvenation. It is a biotechnological hyaluronic acid with a high degree of purity, based on stable hybrid complexes of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
It has two basic functions:
1: a bio-regenerating action, resulting from a balanced concentration of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid which favors its endogenous production by promoting the action of fibroblasts;
2: a tensor effect, guaranteed by a part of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid that counteracts skin laxity and reshapes the face.
It therefore has a moisturizing and stimulating action, linked to the low molecular weight and a supporting action on the dermis, linked to the high molecular weight.
It increases skin hydration and improves skin brightness, offering tone, firmness and better skin elasticity, consequently less wrinkles and expression lines.
The Profhilo® formula provides for a simplified use: it can be injected using a thin-walled needle, with only 5 injection points for each half face (10 points in total), and it spreads easily in the dermis using the lymphatic capillary network.
To achieve facial rejuvenation, 2 sessions are sufficient, to be carried out at a distance of 1 month from each other and a possible recall 2 months after the second treatment in case of significant aging.
