Profhilo Body: Innovative Solution From IBSA

IBSA Derma Farmaceutici premiered in Rome on 11 September and on 18 September in Monte Carlo (Principality of Monaco) an innovative solution specific to the body: PROFHILO BODY KIT, a complete and targeted program for the treatment of skin laxity in the body.

The great success achieved at the Aesthetic & Anti - Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) in Monte Carlo demonstrates how IBSA is currently able to offer the best non-invasive treatments with a complete body and face care protocol.

Until now it was possible to treat the body with Radio Frequency, Mesotherapy, Carboxytherapy, Oxygen Therapy and Oxygen-Ozone Therapy. Today, however, IBSA Derma allows us to use a new Medical Device, alone or together with one of the treatments indicated above, to counteract skin laxity with immediate results and lasting efficacy.

PROFHILO BODY KIT consists of a complete protocol and includes the injectable medical device PROFHILO BODY as well as the PROFHILO FIGURA BODY PATCH and BODY CREAM cosmetics.

The program includes two sessions of PROFHILO BODY injecting one month apart and the post-session application of patches to soothe and moisturize the skin in the treated area. In the interval between these two treatments, the patient will also be able to use the BODY CREAM at home for a prolonged action over time.

PROFHILO BODY is the new injectable Medical Device with specific indications for use for the treatment of skin laxities of the body, particularly suitable for the area of the arms and abdomen.

The composition of the product features Stable Cooperative Hybrid Complexes (HCC) with high and low molecular weight of Ultrapure Hyaluronic Acid in high concentration, produced with a unique and innovative thermal production process patented by IBSA: NAHYCO Technology.

Clinical studies show an improvement of the treated areas in terms of wrinkles and laxity of 23% after 4 months from the first treatment. Even the superficial hydration of the skin is increased both in the inner part of the arms (+ 17.1%) and in the abdomen (+ 16.1%) already one month after the first treatment. The elasticity of the inner arms improves by 26.6% and that of the abdomen by 24% after 4 months. The data therefore confirm a visible global improvement in laxity within 4 months.

PROFHILO® FIGURA – BODY PATCH (pack of 4 patches in single sachet).

Intended to soothe and moisturise the skin of various areas of the body following aesthetic treatments.

It contains high and low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid, Salvia Haenkei – a patented plant extract with strong antioxidant properties – Arnica Montana – to soothe and provide relief – Escin – to prevent excessive accumulation of liquids that can lead to the formation of oedemas – Pineapple extract – to restore the skin’s natural condition.

A clinical study has shown an increase of 33% in skin hydration and a decrease of 11 % in skin irritation within an hour of use.

PROFHILO® FIGURA – BODY CREAM (150ml Airless Bottle)

Multi-active modelling and firming cream. Restores tone and elasticity while deeply moisturising.

Contains a complex of low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acids in high concentration and Matrixyl® 3000, the combination of two peptides that favours tissue remodelling and helps restore the vitality of cellular functions.

The airless bottle allows for full use of the contents, improved  hygiene and product protection, as well as precise and waste-free  dispensing.

A clinical study has shown increased skin hydration (+42%),  elasticity (R2 + 6% and R5 + 9%) and an improvement in skin firmness  (52%) 28 days following start of treatment. Patients’ self-assessment  ranged from very good to excellent on a number of efficacy metrics,  including hydration (100%), elasticity (100%) and firmness (87%).
